I just weighed myself for the first time since my surgery. Even though I've obviously lost weight from my boobs, I was fully prepared for the scales to tell me I'd gained weight since there's still so much swelling and fluid retention, and I haven't been able to exercise the way I normally do, and I've been eating more from sheer boredom ( Read more... )

It's amazing how compliments from complete strangers are somehow so much more gratifying and flattering. I suppose we think on some level that friends and family have an ulterior motive in wanting to please us and make us feel better so may not always be entirely honest, whereas strangers have no such motive ( Read more... )

As I've complained about, my diet lately has been going nowhere. I lost about 60lbs in the first year, about 10-15lbs in the second year, and since then I feel like I've been losing the same 7lbs over and over again.
